 The New XL Trap Bar
|
The XL Gerard Trap Bar
The original Gerard Trap Bar is one of the most essential pieces of equipment you can own for
building incredible leg and back strength. Its 10" loading area on each side allows you to pile on
as much as 600 pounds -- more than enough for most athletes.
In response to requests from some of our EXTREMELY strong customers, we're proud to
introduce the new XL (Extra-Length) Trap Bar. The XL is nearly identical in construction to the original Trap Bar,
with the most significant difference being the length of the loading area - a full 15" on the XL Trap Bar.
Other than that, it's got all the great features you'd expect to find on a Gerard Trap Bar: high-quality (made in the USA)
steel construction...1.95 inch lathed loading areas to ensure your plates will fit...precision diamond point
knurled handles for a better grip...and zinc plating for long life and durability.

The Gerard Trap Bar Training Guides
by Al Gerard and Ken Leistner
|
The Trap Bar Training Guides
This new pair of training guides is the perfect tool to help you make your
Trap Bar workouts as effective as possible.
The set includes three never-before-published sources of Trap Bar training information. The first -
by the master himself, Al Gerard - is Using the Trap Bar to Get Stronger.
It kicks off with an exclusive interview with Al Gerard, in which he discusses the history and design of the Trap Bar and looks
at why it is such a uniquely effective piece of equipment. Al follows that up with an
in-depth look at deadlifting with the Trap Bar, including a full Trap Bar workout program. He expands
further on this program in his "Trap Bar Workout." The book features a foreword by
one of Al's most dedicated "disciples" - me, John Wood. I've been personally using the Trap Bar for
over 15 years, so I know how effective the Trap Bar can be when used the right way.
The second book in the set is by another strength training legend, none other than Dr. Ken Leistner.
Dr. Ken's Trap Bar Workout is the product of his own twenty-plus years of of Trap Bar training. Dr. Ken looks at using
the Trap Bar for deadlifts, shrugs, pulls, and presses - and finishes with a complete Trap Bar workout.
Finally, this great pair of books comes with a copy of my own special report - The 5 x 2 Trap Bar Training Program.
It's a perfect complement to the great training information you'll be getting from Al Gerard and Dr. Ken. More Information

Powerlifting Basics, Texas-Style: The Adventures of Lope Delk
|
Powerlifting Basics, Texas-Style: The Adventures of Lope Delk
Paul Kelso tells the story of Lope Delk and his travels through East Texas pumping iron with the Wampus Cat Weight Club. Although this story is about
a fictional character, Paul infuses his personal real-life experiences into the storyline and gives you his philosophy on the strength world in
general. The book handles the question "What is our purpose?" and wants you to think about that everytime you step into the weight room.
The book is full of invaluable routines such as the Two-Day Bench Workout, High-Rep Squat Training, Full-Body Split Training, etc.
The idea with many of these routines is how to get maximum gains without spending tons of hours in the weight room.
Funny, original, thought-provoking, invaluable. It's a book
any power lifter, or any weight lifter in general, will want to pick up.
