For the reinvention of the Gerard Trap Bar in 2007, we worked off Al Gerard's exact plans circa 1987 with his blessing.
Al's original design features a 1" diameter knurled handle.
Of the tens of thousands of Trap Bars in use, this size has proven to be optimum for many trainees.
However, if you would like a Trap Bar with thicker handles or any other custom
variations, we can make that happen easily.
We can do handle diameters of 1", 1-3/8", 2", 2.5" and 3". Please keep
in mind there will be an additional cost for custom handle sizes and as this is a custom order, the
the turn arond time will take longer.
