We constructed the new Gerard Trap Bars from the highest-grade materials because you need equipment built as tough as you are.
The solid steel we use for the frame is heat treated in order to make sure you can go as heavy as you want without worrying about bending.
The 1" handles are knurled to a precision diamond pattern
which allows a secure grip.
The angles are created with a industrial-grade bender and conform exactly with Al Gerard's orginal design.
The bar ends milled down to 1.95 inches to make sure that all weight plates will fit (a service that comes at no extra charge.)
The bar ends are also chamfered to allow your places to fit on smoothly and easily.
We finished it off with a
water-resistant zinc plating for durability and long-lasting use (which also gives it a very sharp gold finish.) We did NOT use chrome plating which tends to
flake off and rust over time or raised handles which are not necessary.
The new Gerard Trap Bar is also proudly manufactured in the United States.
